Hello there, we’ve collected some frequently asked questions on ECU Programmer Xhorse VVDI Prog. Of course obd2tool engineers give solutions to them. Hope this could help.
Q1: Use VVDI Prog to read Range Rover Velar 2018 ECU, and it says “Incorrect frequency selection”.
A1: Connect the 1Kohm resistor between RTXD and VCC.
If not working, set the frequency manually. The system file covers all known frequencies to test and activate the chip but may miss the one you need.
Q2: Can VVDI Prog ECU Programmer support Benz EIS programming? I read it successfully but fail to write and verify. It shows “Check failure”, how to solve it?
A2: Yes, it supports. Press “Setting” and “Environment”, check all options and try again.
Q3: Xhorse VVDI Prog says “Device Error, please check USB driver”, please help.
A3: Update software to the latest version. Check your software version before use.
Q4: I can’t open up VVDI Prog software. It says “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000906)”,
A4: Close all anti-virus software and system firewall. Always remember that turn off all anti-virus programs when it comes to the update and installation of Xhorse software. If still not working, Re-install drivers and reboot the computer or try another computer.
