Removal Procedure

Requirements:

  • Ensure the truck is securely parked – refer to the operating instructions.
  • Spring-loaded brake installed – see service manual module 001 002 062 00003.

Steps:

  1. Disconnect the battery connector (refer to the truck’s operating instructions).
  2. Remove the cable clamps (Item 6) securing the electrical connection.
  3. Unscrew the terminal box cover (Item 1) by loosening the fasteners (Item 2).
  4. Disconnect the electrical plug (Item 3) from the main electrical connection cable (Item 5).

Reinstallation Procedure

Requirements:

  • Truck must be securely parked – see operating instructions.
  • Spring-loaded brake must be correctly installed – refer to service manual.

Steps:

  1. Reconnect the electrical plug (Item 3) to the electrical connection cable (Item 5).
  2. Reattach the terminal box cover (Item 1), ensuring that the notches (Item 2) face downward. Take care not to trap any cables.
  3. Secure the terminal box cover with its screw fasteners (Item 2).
  4. Re-fix the cable clamps (Item 6) to hold the electrical connection securely.
  5. Insert and connect the battery connector.
  6. Test the function of the spring-loaded brake to ensure proper operation.
