- Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor and MECU. Use a multimeter to check connectivity between circuit numbers 4303B and 4069. Refer to the provided photograph for reference.
- Measure the resistance between the coolant temperature sensor terminals. The multimeter should not read zero resistance.

- Replace the defective wiring harness if a short circuit is detected.
