How to check oil level in Porsche Panamera using PIWIS tester

How to check oil level in Porsche Panamera 970 using a horsepower tester. If the value on the dashboard is not available, look at the screen to check the oil level. After driving for a while, it will say “Check oil level”. Now, this short ride is about 6 miles. If you don’t want to use this method and want to check the exact value, use a horsepower tester. That’s how it works. So here is the piwis tester, it’s actually a clone. The Pe tester works great. So first you need to connect it to the car. This one is wireless so let’s go to diagnostics. Then you need to connect it wirelessly to the car. That’s all it recognized. It says the car is a model series. If it finds the 970, then it goes ahead. Now, wait for the 970 to go through and start the application.

Now, go to Digital Engine, Electronics, or DME, connect, and then go to Maintenance and Repair. Now, go there and press F11. No, it’s okay! It will change and it will say go to F12 and then fill oil. It’s right here. Then, um.

Now go to “Next”. F12, ok. This is just a little general warning. Tell yourself that if you run your engine without oil in it, it’s probably going to destroy it. Now go back to F12 and follow the instructions. It tells me to start the engine, so I start it and it says the engine temperature is now 190 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s now at 189 so all is not well, but if it’s closer to 200 100 or 200 that means it’s full so you can’t assume 100%. 200% is full so it needs to get to 193° before it can do any testing. It’s currently at 192°F so it needs to get a little warmer before it can actually do any testing. It’s down about a degree right now. Give it a little gas and help it go up a degree because it’s not going to happen. Don’t let it do anything unless the parameters are met. Now you can see that the word “Next” is no longer greyed out and that it’s at 198. So now we know that we’ve reached the temperature we want. We can continue with F12 so if we press F12 it says hold down the brake and gas until the measurement is finished.

It’s going to take a while because it starts at 103 seconds and has to count down to 0 before the test is finished. So we don’t want to start right away, which is for the next 90 seconds. Now we hold down the brake but the gas pedal speed only goes up to about 1,300 even with our foot all the way down. So we can see that the computer is not performing to its full potential. It measures the speed, and when you have about 60 seconds left, or about 1 minute, the test is over. You will know exactly how much oil is in your car, and if you need to drain or add it. It will tell you, one more second, measure, engine over.

Shut off the engine. Add oil if necessary. It will say “Fill level to zero”. That’s pretty perfect! It says that the current oil level should be between 100-200%, but mine is at 2011%. If it’s below 6%, you don’t have to do anything, so it’s zero. Where is zero? Yes, it is zero. That means it is completely full to 2011% and perfect. So the oil is perfect. Here is how to test your oil with a PWIS tester.
