1. Start by downloading the VCM3 installation package and extract it to your desktop.
2. Run the IDS-130.01 setup and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
3. Install JavaSetup to ensure compatibility with the software.
4. Next, install the VCI_Software_1.0.1.18. If you have already registered and activated the IDS software, you can skip to the next step. When prompted, select the device type as VCM3. If you encounter an error message stating “IDS software license not found” when running the IDS shortcut from your desktop, you will need to install IDS loader.
5. Install IDSFordLoaderDriverSetup. vc. x86 .1v6.exe startup program.
6. Finally, connect your device and launch the software from the “IDS Loader for Ford” icon.
