What is Allison DOC?
Allison DOC is a dealer-level diagnostic software designed for connecting, communicating, and troubleshooting Allison Transmissions. Typically, Allison releases a new version annually, with the latest official version being Allison DOC v13 at the time of this writing.
To use this software, you need:
- A computer or laptop
- A communication interface, such as DG Tech DPA5 or Nexiq USB Link (any device supporting J1939/J1708 protocols will work).
Allison DOC software enables:
- Reading and clearing transmission fault codes
- Built-in troubleshooting assistance
- Bi-directional functional tests, including resetting the adaptive shift
