Background
Background: Different motorcycle models equip with some control units to monitor over the abnormal behavior of the control unit and its sensors. The equipped control units have a memory area and a special program for recording the behavior of a series of sensors. When this memory area is full, fault codes P0611 and P1607 may appear in diagnosing, indicating its data buffer needs to be reset.
Maintenance Tips
Maintenance Tips: A 2019 VESPA GTS 300SUPERTECH showed fault code【P1607 data buffer – unreasonable signal】. It means its memory area is full and the ‘data buffer reset’ function needs to be performed.
Note: It is recommended to carefully check the components of the injection system first, because the data saturation is a symptom of faulty connections with injection system components.
